Always at the cutting edge of the winemaking process, Beaupré was one of the first domaines in Provence to produce white wine in barrels and to make richer wines. In accordance with viticultural tradition, a cuvée "Collection du Château" of red wine is specially made using grapes from the oldest vines, and, after a long fermentation on the skins, is reared in oak casks. Trial runs using the property’s own oak trees have been carried out with good result. With the arrival of Phanette, our third generation œnologue, a rigourous surveillance of the temperatures of fermentation was put into place, so as better to develop the wines’ aromas. A wide range of wines is produced that satisfies all levels of consumption and enjoyment : dry whites, tender, silky rosés, and reds either for everyday pleasure, or for laying down. |
